A simple guide for parents and students looking for tutoring

Then Eduvik is for you — a platform that puts you in control. No long searches through endless profiles, no mandatory lesson packages. Just post your request, and qualified tutors will reach out to you.
In this guide, we walk you through the process step by step — simple, transparent, and at your own pace.
1. Create your free Eduvik account
Go to www.eduvik.com and click 'Gett started'. You canregister as:
- A parent or guardian (18+) looking for tutoring for a child
- A student (18+) looking for tutoring for yourself
🔐 Registration is free and without obligation.
2. Add your child(ren) (optional)
If you’re requesting tutoring for a child, just add them to your account. You can manage multiple kids easily from one place.
Are you 18+ and looking for tutoring for yourself? Then no need to add anyone else.
3. Choose the subjects you need help with
Need help in math, French, physics, economics, or another subject? Create a separate request for each subject.
👉 This way, tutors can respond to the exact needs per subject, and it’s easier to find the best match for each.
4. Fill out your request as completely as possible
Your request is the core of the match. The clearer you are, the better tutors can decide if they’re the right fit for you.

You can include:
- Approximate number of lessons
➝ Not sure? No worries — this field is optional. - Your hourly budget
➝ Tutors set their own rates on Eduvik. On average it’s €33/hour, ranging from €17 to €50. You can enter a target rate, but tutors with higher prices may still apply.

➝ Optional but super useful. The more context you share (e.g., learning goals, struggles, or your child’s personality), the better the responses will fit
5. Get responses from tutors
Once your request is live, available tutors can respond. You’ll see:
- Their hourly rate
➝ No hidden costs — you just pay the agreed rate × hours taught. - Their preferred format (online or in-person)
➝ This might differ from your choice — feel free to discuss in the chat. - A personalized message
➝ They’ll explain why they think they’re a good fit.
📷 Click on their name to view their full profile — including experience, subjects taught, and reviews from other students or parents.
6. Start the conversation and compare
Not sure who to choose? That’s okay — there’s no pressure.

📞 Once you accept a tutor, you’ll automatically receive each other’s contact info via email. You can then call or WhatsApp to finalize details.
Important: Once you accept a tutor, all other proposals are automatically declined. Take your time and talk to multiple tutors before deciding.
7. Your lessons begin
Once you accept a tutor, they can schedule the first session. After each session, they log it on my.eduvik.com. You don't have to do anything — but you do stay involved because:
📝 After each lesson, you’ll receive a short email update:
- What was covered?
- What went well, and what still needs work?
- Any homework or follow-up?
This way, you stay fully in the loop.
8. Share your feedback
Support your tutor and help others find the right fit by leaving a review after each lesson.
