🎒 EduCare needs you: give 1 hour of your time and change a future
1 in 8 children in Flanders grows up in disadvantaged poverty.
Tutoring is often out of reach for them. Not because they're not making an effort, but because the financial resources simply aren't there.
With EduCare we want to change that. Not a luxury, but a necessity to strive for equal educational opportunities. And that's why we're looking for people like you!
What is an hour of explanation for you can make the difference for a student between dropping out or daring to dream again. Between standing still or moving forward.
In this blog, you can read exactly what Educare does and how you can easily join via the Eduvik platform.
🌱 What is EduCare?
EduCare is an initiative within Eduvik that gives children from vulnerable families access to tutoring. We work with committed counselors who use their time, knowledge and energy to create equal educational opportunities.
Sometimes this is done completely voluntarily, sometimes for a small fee. But always with a big heart.
💡 Why participate?
- Because you believe that every child has the right to learn, regardless of their home situation.
- Because you love to help in a way that really makes a difference.
- Because you want to use your time, knowledge or experience for a warm, social cause.
Whether you're a student, teacher, retired or just someone with a heart for young people: your commitment makes the difference!
